Timekeeper Enhancement Suggestions (5. Changing Dates)
Status: Released in Version 4.10

A current problem with Timekeeper Remote is with the date field. If an employee changes the date to a previous date in the week, the date always defaults back to the current date after each time entry. This is a problem, as our employees normally do their timesheets weekly, not daily and normally have numerous entries per day.

Timekeeper Enhancement Suggestions (4. Search By Engagement)
Status: Released in Version 4.10

Allow employee to search by engagement code first if they need to. We have many engagement codes and a lot of our employees know the engagement code, but not the client code, so it would be very helpful to have this function.

Timekeeper Enhancement Suggestions (3. View History)
Status: Released in Version 4.10

Allow employee to review Timekeeper history from the Timekeeper Remote.

Improve The User Interface! (4. Help)
Status: Released in Version 4.10
  Help has been dramatically improved!

The "Help" offering is inexcusably bad. Instead of being tailored to answer the questions of the user, it is a warmed-over sales brochure for everything the program can do. It does not include adequate assistance for anything. For example: - How are you supposed to sync? "Customer Approval" is an illogical name for the task (I am not the customer of time records, and I am not approving anything--I already have "accepted" each record--I am unloading, offloading, uploading, or sending them!) The image looks correct but it doesn't work: Help should tell me what it does or guide me to what I am supposed to be using instead. - How do you undo an error? How far can you go before it is too late and you have to talk to your manager to fix it?

Improve The User Interface! (1. Remember User Favorites)
Status: Released in Version 3.71
In .timekeeper, hit down arrow while on the Customer field!

Most users have a small subset of fields for company(ies) that they use, which change very slowly as projects begin and end. Ditto for projects and for activities. The program should remember these, at least within a session, better by looking at its history file, and best by preserving that data. The user should be presented with those choices first and then a global list. "Search" is awkward because of the unfriendly names and numbers for all the choices, which meet accounting but not user-input needs. Ideally, the user should be able to create and store several templates that can be loaded with one-button clicks and either used as is (entering time/date only) or modified and entered. Eliminate repetitive reselections!!!

Multi-Company
Status: Released in Version 4.10
You can switch companies now in the Timekeeper Entry menu!

Add company code field to data entry screen. Once entered, TK should only display clients/projects/etc for that company.

Duplication Of Existing Record
Status: Released in Version 4.10
Search for 'Recurring' in the help files.

There are a couple of tasks that I preform over and over(and over). Our lists are long and scrolling through each of them can take a "while". It would be nice if I could select one of the existing records such that the fields become populated, I can modify them, and then save a new record rather than modifying the original.

.timekeeper Entry Numbering
Status: Released in Version 4.00

Can you add a footer at the bottom of the list of entries that show the entries you are viewing. For example: Entries 1-10 of 97.

A/P Integration
Status: Released in Version 4.10
Reimbursements paid through A/P, G/L or Payroll.

It would be nice if Timekeeper could integrate with AP fo 1099 vendors, and have it automatically create an invoice in AP. I have had several clients say they would be interested in buying if they had that function.

Make Timekeeper Remote Look Like The Old Timekeeper Local
Status: Released in Version 4.10
Whole new look in 4.10!! Check Summary screen for totals.

Major step backwords by deleting daily totals, client totals and the scrolling of the weekly entries. Clients who were on 3.71 TK Local and upgrade to 3.72 are furious with the lack of features. You can't even double click on a client, project or workcorde to select it from the list -- you must press the SELECT button in ALE!!

Expenses!
Status: Released in Version 3.72

Please add expense entry to Timekeeper.

Payroll Integration With Timekeeper
Status: Released in Version 4.10
  Optionally roll-up by Earnings Code!

During tax season we have multiple time entries on any given day for each employee. Every entry comes over to the payroll module, which can result in hundeds of entries for each employee for a two week payroll period. It would be nice if Timekeeper would total these entries by earnings code in the Payroll Data Entry screen.

Better Search Options For Client/code Lists
Status: Released in Version 4.10
Type in the first few characters before hitting the lookup.

It would be nice to be able to enter the first letter or two of the client and have it scroll to that section of the list while you are entering time. Our client list is long, and even though I have a jogdial on my palm, it's troublesome getting to the correct client name in a long list.

Improve The User Interface! (2. Eliminate The Sticky Date)
Status: In Review  October 06

The calendar always defaults to today. It ought to default to the last date entered (ideally, using its history; at least, don't clear the field and insert today's date for each entry!) There should be day arrows which increment or decrement the contents of the field. The day arrows should work across month boundaries.

Improve The User Interface! (3. Printing)
Status: In Review  October 06

"Print" should always mean just that. Here it yields an image of the item being entered. Who needs a unit transaction form like that? To save my weekly input, I would have to bring up each item entered and print it separately (or PDF it separately). And you have to hit a "Print" icon twice per entry, with a different meaning for the same icon on the two hits! I gave up and am continuing to image-capture the left side which the program should have printed with one click.

Timekeeper Enhancement Suggestions (1. Spell Check)
Status: In Review  October 06

Add spell check to Timekeeper / Timekeeper Remote - one that is easy to use.

Timekeeper Enhancement Suggestions (2. Printing)
Status: In Review  October 06

Allow employee to print their time from Timekeeper Remote. They have no way of printing out their time without coming to a manager to print it out.

Timekeeper Enhancement Suggestions (6. Quick Entry)
Status: In Review  October 06

It would be helpful if the Timekeeper Remote were in the format of a matrix, like Timekeeper local. Many of our employees have multiple entries during the week to the same client and engagement code, but have to enter client and engagement code for each day of the week that an entry is made. This takes much longer than the Timekeeper local for that reason.

Expense Reporting
Status: In Review  April 06

Create report that prints just expenses, with customer, project and date ranges.

Time Clocks/ Data Capture
Status: In Review  September 05

Do you have data caputure units or clocks. Please call me.

Default Hours For An Activity
Status: In Review  January 05

My employees get credited for a specific number of hours for a specific Activity. If they are changing a starter on a Ford Bronco they get an hour and a half to do it. The Customer is billed an hour and a half as well. Can you add a default number of hours for an Activity in Timekeeper?

Column for Client Name on Data Entry Screen
Status: In Review  March 03

It would be helpful for us to have a client name display after the project code. As a person is inputting their time, it is easier to review to see if anything has been missed if the names are displayed, rather than having to go back and click on each client number to see which client has been entered.

Data Entry for Client Number and Project (Engagement) Code
Status: In Review  March 03

It would be nice if Timekeeper had the same functionality as Time and Billing Professional. When entering a client number in T2, we don't have to enter lead zeros. When entering an engagement code in T2, we can enter the 0000000000 engagement by hitting the zero one time and then hitting the enter key on the keyboard. In Timekeeper, you have to enter the exact number or else browse the list.
